Yep. Either the Dead played that set a day early, or someone got their dates crossed (like that could happen!).
There's (one of many) a backstory of course. My ex-sister-in-law was with a picker from one of the un-named bands on that spree (The Cate Bros, affilliated with The Band), and had her firstborn in a station wagon while they chased that train across Canada.

That ad had a Neil Young endorsement. I've searched the video of the time, and find no evidence. Lack of evidence being, exactly what it is. Couldn't find clips of BST/ALTEC either.Quote:
